Jo Daley and the next phase for Flotilla
Jo brings more than two decades of international ESG and sustainability leadership across multiple sectors. She has combined strategic and operational execution with advisory work for private equity houses and mid-market businesses, helping them make sustainability count where it matters most, on the balance sheet. She will maintain a number of existing client relationships alongside her new role, including an ongoing advisory relationship from her previous position at Clearwater, the global corporate finance firm.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the ESG technology and consultancy sector, which is undergoing rapid consolidation as businesses demand sharper commercial outcomes from their sustainability investment. Jo’s arrival reflects Flotilla’s ambition to bring some of the sector’s most experienced and commercially minded practitioners into the business as it scales. Founder John Rastrick will remain actively involved in the business as Executive Chair, working closely with Jo on client relationships and Flotilla’s future growth strategy.
Jo Daley on joining Flotilla
Commenting on her appointment, Jo said:
“ESG has too often been treated as a set of labels to apply rather than levers to pull. The businesses that understand this are already having the greatest impact. Flotilla has combined market-leading ESG technology with commercially minded advisory services, and that means it is well positioned to help its clients build genuine resilience: stronger operations, stronger investment cases and stronger long-term growth. That is the work I have spent my career doing, and it is why I am joining Flotilla. This is a business built by people who understand that distinction, and I want us to keep attracting the kind of practitioners who do too, particularly for the private equity and mid-market businesses that are such an important engine of our economy.”
