Emily Rastrick, Graduate Sustainability Consultant

Emily comes to Flotilla from two years as a Clinical Data Analyst, where she developed a sharp eye for complex datasets and a methodical approach to turning numbers into decisions that matter. It’s a background that translates naturally into sustainability consulting, and Flotilla appealed as a place where that kind of rigour gets applied to work with real purpose.

In her role, Emily will support the team across carbon footprinting, emissions data review, Carbon Reduction Plans and client workshops. What she’s most looking forward to is being part of a client’s journey from understanding their emissions for the first time to committing to a clear plan for reducing them.

A Biochemistry graduate from the University of Bath, Emily is as comfortable in front of a client as she is in the data. Outside of work, she plays netball, trains at the gym and is happiest out walking somewhere with a good view.

Fraser McEvoy, Graduate Sustainability Consultant

Fraser is no stranger to Flotilla, having completed an internship here last summer. He saw first-hand how the team turns sustainability into genuine commercial value for clients and the level of responsibility people are given early on. It’s what brought him back full-time.

His Biomedical Science background gives him a strong analytical foundation, and his time here last year means he already understands how Flotilla works and what clients need. He’ll be supporting senior consultants across client relationships, workshops and ongoing work, building towards his own client portfolio as he develops in the role. A few weeks in, he’s already working directly with clients — which is exactly where he wants to be.

Outside of work, Fraser plays rugby, sails competitively and has spent the last six years building a 50ft oak-frame boat with his dad and brother. A slow project, he’ll tell you, but a great one.

Claire Richards, Principal Sustainability Consultant

“Emily and Fraser are a brilliant addition to the team. Emily brings a level of analytical precision from her clinical background that will support clients and strengthen our product. Fraser made such an impression during his internship that we were keen to have him back. They’re joining at a busy but exciting time. They’ll be getting ready for the reporting season ahead, working closely on platform development as we continuously align each feature with technical sustainability standards, and helping our clients get the most from the Flotilla platform and our advisory support.”

As Flotilla continues to grow, we’re looking forward to seeing what Emily and Fraser bring to the team. If you’d like to find out more about working with us or explore careers at Flotilla, we’d love to hear from you!
